con-way truckload is about a 4-5 month old venture started to haul freight for the ccx, cse, cwx, terminals. really not involved with the expediting side at all it is used for larger shipments going to the same area and to cut ltl transit times they are company owned and operated by company employees just like the ltl side based out of memphis, tn. from what we understand this is a pretty good opportunity for h/w teams looking to be company drivers there is also another venture conway retail where frgt. is hauled to a dist. centers then sorted and loaded on private contractor trucks [day cab straight trks. ] and routes are set up and ran to del frgt. to malls and such or retail facilities that have shipments every week these are all contracted customers essentially conway is the sorting house making sure the rite frgt. goes to the rite customer keep looking im sure in the future you will see more new ventures coming about
