Anyone purcchased one that works well and will slide or push out of the way of the passenger seat. Where? How much? And Installation? Does it work as well as you had planned?

I've got one from www.cybertrucker.com in the box at home. They were at the Dallas truck show and I'm sure will be at Louisville. It appears to do all you want it to and it also has a cooling fan built in to circulate air along the bottom of the computer that runs off the 12v outlet in the dash.

Hey Kraig,

I manufactured one out of the post style QC stand and a steering wheel desk topper. Cut the desk topper so I saved the 90 degree bend at the bottom and mounted it to the flattop of the QC mounting plate with small nuts and bolts.

Glued on non-slip and it holds the computer in place on all but the bumpiest roads, (NYC, Detroit, etc). You can get very thin bungees or elastic cord and place around the computer by the hinged screen for more security.

And when you,re done using it, loosen the bolt and flatten it out vertically. Works great for us, and I picked up the used stand for $20.
