company markings?

aren't these trucks required to have the name on the door or the box? i am thinking like p2 and fecc markings. last friday driving to indy from chgo i saw a half dozen d and one c with no markings of any kind. the big red e on the d was easily visible as was the fecc on another. the only vans and there were lots of them with markings included a big red e sprinter and again an fecc unit. monday coming back there was a hino going south on 65 also with no visible markings. maybe my eyes are that bad but i don't think so.

The motor carrier numbers etc. are required on the cab. The ugly giant decals etc. on the cargo box are not.

Sign on with p2 and that box will just about always advertise for them because you can take of the decals and still see them for awhile. I think those p2 decals ruin a box.

HI

Kind of off topic but did you notice the arrow in FEDEX pionts backwards on the drivers side and forward on the passenger side.Or seen the eagle in the Panther signs. The E in Express One looks like lipstick used on a mirror.Thompson Emergency signs the lines flow all the way from the door signs to the box signs. That Tri States signs are worded differently for the vans than on the straight trucks. As your can see I have spent way to much time in truck stops.

O/O get a greater percentage around 2% when they have FedExCC company markings on truck.

DD, say it ain't so.
Time to readjust my cost per mile work sheet.
Well that settles it I won't be leasing on with them...lol

So what percentage are the other carriers paying O/O?

The large signs FedEx on the trucks/vans will get the owner 1/2% more in payment making the total 58%.

Any of the large decals ruin a box. You essentially have to repaint them. We did that this year on a used Fedex truck. A torch was used to heat and remove them, but they were so imbedded, we removed them and then repainted. Now it has no decals.

I believe ConWay used to pay a nominal amount for signage, but no longer does. They are, however, in the process of rebranding, & updating the logo. The new one looks much better, IMO.
