What companies pay a percentage of the line haul as opposed to a flat rate per mile?

Mine does, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Although I know carriers are in this business to make money, I often wonder how many that pay per mile to their o/o's actually make more than their o/o's make on a load, while at the same time, cry poor mouth, while charging their o/o's ridiculous fees for everything and everything under the sun? Just a personal pet peeve of mine....sorry, just needed to vent...Please carry on...lol
