Oh come on! Paaleeze! How many of you have been ticketed for 'mis-spelling a city name? How many of you feel you are 'targeted' (not expedite trucks, you personally) are targeted by dot as per "seems like everytime I come to colorado they get me with a log book violation for something stupid" or "but these guys have cost me thousands every time with lost jobs."
Scenerio:
Two dot officers sitting under the bridge. Along comes Harry Joe Bensen in his little straight truck
Officer 1 say "Hey Freddeeo, ain't dhat der Harry Joe Benson?)
Officer 2 replies "Well, dip diggity dog, I tink yer right Little Mo, I sees dhat der sure is Harry Joe Bensen, let's get'em Little Mo"
Officer 1 "dip dippity diggy dogs I gonna get ta have some fun with ole Harry Joe Bensen, gonna writ'em for a logs violation, why heck I might get ta shut'em down".
Get my drift here. Hubby use to hear crock tales all the time, picking on this one, targeting that one, my baby wouldn't do that, it must of been a plant, I wasn't speeding it must of been your radar is off, I didn't steal that it fell in my pocket, on and on and on for a whole lifetimes career. Dot is no different then any other law enforcement officer.
Some of us don't realize that when you pass under these little camera/SCANNERS along the roadside it is recording the info from your prepass. More then likely when they run this poster (just like an officer runs a NCIC dot is gonna run your license) priors are pulled up in the computer which makes them take a closer look at his logs, paper work, ect and check reference with their computers. Bottom line, ya run illegal your gonna get busted, once you get busted, don't try it a second time cause your gonna be in the system.
