It appears that the poor little girl, after all that work, didn't get a stuffed animal.

If she was my kid she would have gotten a prize, a bruised behind from the whoopin I'd give her. I'd tell my kid you better hope we have a car wreck on the way home and I day because that's the only you won't be getting whooped.

I kind of have to admire the creative problem solving, teehee - most kids who didn't have a quarter would just ask Mom or Dad for the money.....
