Class 8 Straight trucks

Anyone know the cost of stretching a Class 8 truck into a straight truck? And how does one find a shop that does this? I'm curious if it might be cheaper to pick up a tractor and have it done rather than buy an already stretched truck. Inventory of Class 8 straight trucks here and at truckpaper seems very small, so not that much to choose from.

There have been several threads on stretching a class 8. If you keep going back through the conference you will find several and if you search the archives you will find some older ones.
