Class 8 Insurance

Evening Ladies,

Got a question have searched all the archives can't find one that fits my situation. We're buying a new to us tractor... how do we insure it until we show up at another orientation. We need some sort
of insurance coverage to pick it up, drive it home, drive it to get
some modifications done to it, drive it to orientation, and anything else in between. Any help greatly appreciated, and any insurance leads too.

We knew what carrier we where going with and our recruiter handled all of the details. Our recruiter was very good and he was a great resource to us on how to get all of this done.

OOIDA might be another good place for you to check into if you are not signed with a company yet.

Our recruiter told us that we could not carry FdXCC's insurance until we brought the truck down there in person, we have some customizing to do before we actually 'sign on' as O/O. So what do you
suggest we use for insurance until we actually get there? Our insurance agent said that they probably won't 'insure' it as it is a 'commercial vehicle' talk about catch-22

Call CIS Insurance,talk to Shelly or John, they will sell you a policy for 30 days and it might be cheaper then the Fedex plan.
