chevy express manny tranny??

2008 Chevrolet Express 3500 Extended Cargo Van at Automobile Magazine

what does the van community here think of a manual used in a cargo van? there has to be some kind of mileage advantage.

think i have read some things out the auto tranny here before.

it is a misprint. the h/d 4spd o/d is std and no manny is offered. I know dodge offered a manny tranny a few yrs ago on the 1/2 ton ramvan, but i don't think it was available on the bigger vans.

You can't get a manny in the us or Canadian market but you can get one for overseas. I have all the GM service books for my 06 and it shows a picture of a manual and the clutch petal set-up along with the slave cylinder set-up "its a 5 speed". also overseas you can get adjustable headlights as a option. wish we could get adjustable headlights here as a option. I would be aggravating the heck out of people that pass me with there high beams on
