the petro in ruther glen va today had a mini truck show took time off to check it out , but rain on monday and tuesday kind of killed the truck show but there were some worth while display's there and this is one of them

trunda self contained truck air conditioning and heating unit about 7,000 btu's and price was good and this unit ran with 2 battery's that were deep cyle and would run for 8 hour's before recharging was need

Info on Dometic website...I have been checking these out. They seem really helpful and the most accurate vis a vis actual cooling capacity. A 7K BTU might have worked for me, but batts cost $500 each and need 3. A 10,000 is probably the minimum for a 60-72" sleeper, and at least 4 batts are required. About a $4000 investment...
They also do 10-14 K BTU's with an APU (2 cyl. Kubota) for more $$.
Dometic also does fridges/freezers (saw some at a mobile home builder), so they know what they're doing. U.S. company site is Richmond.
I'm going to wait, there are other things coming down the pipe, like Idling Solutions (not Idle...) with a one battery Powerpak system for the entire truck and comfort system, engine off.
