Cargo Van

I have a question for cargo van O/O I have been running a C-unit for a few years with Panther II I am thinking about adding a B Unit I am looking for some ifo on prospestive income, run availably, and anything else I may need to know about the van any info would be helpful.

Since nobody jumped on this one, I guess I'd suggest that you start by calling recruiters...it seems that some companies are not putting on B units at this time, so that should narrow your search..EO's home page has numerous companies listed, so that should give you a place to start...best of luck, and let us know how things work out for you...

Thanks for the info loosecannon its funny I have been in the expedite business for over 5 years and just recently learned about this site there is so much info on here I will check out a few differnt companies but sounds like from some of the things I have read I would be better off With another C or D unit what do you guys think

Unfortunately many companies don't add cargo vans right now.
As far as my company goes, some larger units are most of the time half empty...I wonder how long thay can keep that up.

Having run a cargo van for PII I would should suggest aginst it. It is very hard to spilt .77 a mile. A driver does not really want to run for .46 a mile and spend half, if not more on fuel for the van. The FSC panther collects is sometimes really good (.25 or better) but they do have some stinkers (.01-.06) this is going to make it very hard to keep a good driver in your van mainly because almost anyone can buy a van that panther will accept for under 6000 dollars.
