canadien van logging rules

with so many newbies coming in with the yellow penske trucks at 10k i think this is important info to have a separate thread.

down in the cube van thread it is mentioned that vans over plated for over 9920 lbs must log.

how many days previous to coming to canada are required?

do they have to scale?

what are the hours of service? i know they are different from the usa.
