A van containing President Obama's teleprompter and podium were stolen from a Virginia hotel parking lot on Monday, according to NBC12 in Richmond.
The truck was parked at the Virginia Center Commons Courtyard Marriott near Richmond before the president's scheduled Wednesday appearance in Chesterfield, the station reported. In addition to the teleprompter, $200,000 worth of audio equipment and presidential seals mounted on Obama's podium were inside the stolen vehicle.
NBC12 reports the truck was recovered on Monday at 12:30 p.m. at a Holiday Inn Express near the Richmond airport.
The Defense Information Systems Agency released the following statement on the incident:
"A government vehicle was stolen and has been recovered. No classified or sensitive information was in the vehicle. We take incidents such as this very seriously, and a formal investigation is continuing in coordination with relevant law enforcement agencies."
At this time, officials have not said if any items were missing from the van.

Its a sign, does anyone really care what the President says anymore? One more speech on jobs is a job speech saying to me that Obamas Presidency is in shambles and going in circles IMHO> Ps, I dont really care about his van being guarded or unguarded, it probably was a prank when someone took the van.

I bet that whole Administration was in DEF CON 12 mode while that thing was missing!!!

I can see it now........

Secret Service, FBI, DEA, CIA, FEMA, DHS, Sheriff Roscoe Pecoe Train, and thousands of others in a search and recover mission all over the country trying to locate Obawas left n*t so that he can continue on with his grandiose speaking.

What was Obawa doing while this thing was missing??? He was hunkered down in the "Bus" popping Valiums and going through towel after towel wiping the sweat off his head chanting "I can't do it....I can't do it......I can't do it......" knowing he had to give a speech later on in the day.

That's my thought on it as well.....they should have called one of our expediting companies!!!!

It just goes to show you he cannot speak without someone telling him what to say. He's so far out of touch. He completely lost it yesterday. When the President can't talk about what his administration is doing and should do, that's bad.[
So if you want to expand your business next year you better get rid of old Numb Nuts or get in line for your check.
