Many are not aware that many companies mine included do not classify a load as C or D. For this I am greatfull I get paid FULL D RATE for every load does not matter and I am not disqualified for D RATE just because once I got a scale ticket for not being able to carry a full 13K.
What I am saying here is the only difference is if it will fit on a Van and the customer is not willing to pay for a D unit truck to haul it than its my decision if I want to take it.
C load D load it is all the same to us pure profit and no arguments.
So how does a C unit out earn a D good question but really do not care to hear the answer does not include what I do as it was explained to me in my youth.
KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID... Big carriers enjoy clouding the water and messing with #s to screw its work force.... They do not do this to benefit you the driver.
