Not a bit of jealousy, nope glad you are doing well and wish others would do just as well but I thought that you said the same thing with your broker thing and something else before that???

gj, didn't you make a dramatic announcement recently that you were done with EO? Ahh, credibility really doesn't matter anyway, does it?

Greg - sorry about my smart a## comment, I tend to take things the wrong way or to harsh so please accept the fact I am here saying I am sorry directly to you.

And yes I did at one time make comments about things going well as a broker but the whole thing fell financially apart.

However, this time, I was able to get some deep pockets behind this little venture and its' amazzing what having some dollars sitting to the side will do for you.

So- once again sorry about my rudeness and I wish you well.

No need to apologize, I am not an RVing expediter or someone who has an identity complex like others.

But I got to point out that you also said that "I was able to get some deep pockets behind this little venture and its' amazzing what having some dollars sitting to the side will do for you." seems to be said before, or am I wrong about that?

greg -

yep, the deep pocket was made - when I had my own authority...but, like so many others in this business, I found that my OWN deep pockets were not deep enough and kind of sprung a leak....but, this time - I am lucky enough to be working with a guy that has his own authority and allows me to book loads to my own truck....my own truck meaning its' his actual truck but my truck to drive and I take my cut from the loads I book. So, I don't have to worry about the insurance, fuel payments, authority regulations, this and that. I run the truck the most cost effective way I can, book my own loads and I run with it and I run hard.......so, no its not my pockets or authority - but another guy I met several months ago. I get paid on time all the time, repairs are made when ever needed and PM is done all the time. Its like running my own business without having to worry about the debts - but just looking at the assets coming in. (now, i do still keep an eye on deadhead miles, detention, idle time - i use the generator at night when i sleep, the price we pay for fuel) the more of an actual profit margin this guy sees the better he is and the better off for me.
Now, to buckeye.....dude you don't know me, I don't know you, and I will leave it at that. You can talk about my past all you want and yes, I have shot my mouth off several times - big deal, get over it, its in the past, move on.

My apoligizies if I have misunderstood. Some one else pays Insurance, Fuel, it's their rig your driving. Sounds as if your driving for a Fleet owner.

OK I get it now, you couldn't make it on your own, you couldn't make it as a broker (I thought you were in partnership with some big company) and you are now driving for someone else who you spend their money.... I get it..... sort of.... well maybe..... I got to go feed my cats....

greg-

that's right hot shot, mister perfect, mister you have made a success with everything you have ever done, mister all-mighty ------I did not make it as a broker.........no not even that big company I lined up with could help me, I just didn't have what it takes to make it as a broker..........maybe its' because of my know it all attitude, I don't know - but what I do know is my place is driving a truck, tending to my own needs, and finding peace within myself.............and if all you people want to do is drag up someone's past failures and questions someone's motive or desire to make it - -- -that's your problem, knock yourself out, while I drive by you in the parking lot 'cause I ain't looking for no freinds here mountainjacks!

I'm taking a short break from feeding the pigeons...to Greg's cats. Being the ignorant and inquisitive person that I am, I'll bite; what is a mountainjack?

Thank guys, who is going to help me clean up the house - I have feathers and bird poo all over the place.

Mcclain i'm sorry if you are upset, I am only trying to figure it out. I don't remember much with these "multis" so what do you expect.

Perfect? nope not at all.... I burned ribs today..... how do you burn ribs? Well I did it, glad someone took over the ribs. Success, well I did try to cook the brats in beer today, used that swill they call Budweiser and the brats turned out good.... so yea I have some success for once. I think it is the setup, it is a hard wood open fire and I don't put the brats where I should. I have the same problem with my father's grill - I burn them every time so that's a failure.
