Reading the legal stuff on AAA website for my area it says covered trip interruption is limited to leisure travel so I guess if they find out your working not doing leisure travel they can refuse to pay

My chapter said that I could not be loaded to qualify...

I've been towed several times while loaded. Don't tell 'em your loaded.

Did you know that your AAA card gets you 10% off all food and beverage purchases at the sit-down and fast food restaurants at the TA?

Also, if you're in a Sprinter, they freak when you say the word "Freightliner".
Tell 'em it's a Dodge.

What are some signs that the Transmission is going out. I had an altenator repaired last night, but im thinking that may not have been problem after talking to mechanics in El Paso, just an easy repair that the 24 hour mobile repair guy could milk. I was driving on interstate between Dallas and El Paso, about 400 miles into the trip, no hills, but was over 100 degrees, but engine wasnt overheated, when the van started to lose power, wouldnt shift gears, then power steering quit, then battery light came on, then car shut down.

Dont steal, the government hates competition. ~Ron Paul~

That sounds more like a lose or broken belt. Did u check the belt, belt tensioner & pully's?

If the battery is weak & the Alternator was on the verge of failure that type of strain would do it in.

It also applies to the Petro.

Lots of savings to be found with the AAA membership. One not to be overlooked if you are self-pay is the Prescription Savings program. Go the AAA website, then go to the Savings tab and click the AAA Prescription Savings link (you'll need to be logged into the site with your membership number). You can print out a prescription card or fill in the form and they'll mail you one. You'll average about a 24% discount on scripts. Good at lots of pharmacies, including Walmart, Walgreens, CVS... (at CVS all you need to show is your AAA card).
