Why the fuss about the weather?GUess we have fixed the global warming, this reminds me of the winter of I think,1978.I can remember when most of our winters were like this.
Shoot, when I was a kid,I can remember it snowing on holloween.
Most states have pretty good road crews, just slow down and be carefull. In 1997 we had a bad storm, but I spent it in the hospital,so didn't have to get in it.Now this storm my truck is in the shop,so I'm warm and cozy watching TV and trying to find a co driver so when I get back to work,I can make the money I'm use to

No fuss, just a good idea to know what is going on. I too remember winters like this being more the norm. It will be interesting to see if this continues. This is typical for a La Nina year. A rather strong La Nina to boot. Global warming? La Nina is caused by abnormal cooling of the Pacific Ocean.

Global warming causes the ice to melt. The cold ice goes to the oceans cooling the oceans down.

Very good!! That is correct. That does not explain how come there has been La Ninas during times when ice is not melting. None of this is new, even the ice melts. It has happened in the past and will continue long after mankind is gone from this earth.

One example of nature's long term cycles. Devil's Lake North Dakota.

Global warming causes people to run around, yelling "THE SKY IS FALLING! CHANGE TO MERCURY LIGHTBULBS!!!"

Hocus pocus.
