For those of you who are not aware Caryn Burd (Spry) is giving her brother a kidney next month and we are doing this fundraiser to help her out during her time off and to help get her and her family through the holidays. She is doing such an amazing thing for her brother and it would be so nice to help her get through this time without any worries.

WTG Caryn.....Will try to attend....:)

While I can't promise i'll be there, I will buy a ticket to the cause and one of my other companies will be donating an item to be raffled off (GET YOUR WALLET OUT JOHN!!)...Caryn works to help us do what we do, and to help her in this situation is nothing short of a pleasure ....

This is fantastic. Caryn is proving herself to be a brave and caring woman. My sister-in-law underwent a kidney transplant earlier this year from a living donor she didn't even know. An interesting note of the transplant was that before she received the kidney she drank a lot of coca-cola. Afterwards, she found she no longer liked it. She checked with the donor and found out the person didn't care for it coca-cola at all. So...if Caryn's brother happens to call you and ask you to take a load to KC, ignore it.

As for the bowling, I don't think it would be a good idea for me to try it given the back thing. Sure will donate, and maybe the non-bowlers of the group can attend as a cheering section. We can take over the parking lot with Load 1 trucks.:D
