And a bad one yesterday, saw a man die. Motorcycle in fast lane, not seen by person in middle lane, they moved over and he went flying off his bike, bounced, rolled and hit the divider at 70mph. We were in the slow lane just behind it all. Half dozen cars pulled over immediately, including the one that hit him. Very hard to watch unfold.

That must have been such a terrible sight to see. So very sad for all involved. The more you're on the road the more you will witness. Please y'all be careful out there.

This is retirement for me. I worked a decade straight of 70-90 hour weeks before expediting, this is my reward...if they come out with the self drivers I'm still going along for the ride.

Get back in the van :D

Wednesday: good paying shortie to Wichita. Thursday: got a whale, heading to Maine. Arrived at shipper, load is 120x24x30. I could have fit it in but I would have lost my bed for two nights. Thankfully, the shipper re-crated the load down to 68x48. Keep the load and the bed

Now in Watahville, Maine until Tuesday, when we get paid. Van can sit without using fuel, drivahs can't. Will make our way closer to Beantown sometime between now and then.

King of short runs.
Back in the day I had a '62 vette. 6'1" and north of 300# (back then) with fingers like sausages - everything I did on the car took extra time. In an hour it was 5 minutes of work and 55 minutes of getting into position to do the work
