Stay classy birther's, stay classy. What a shame some idiot had to interupt the reading of the Constitution.

'Birther' arrested during Constitution reading

A woman was arrested in the House gallery Thursday after interrupting a reading of the Constitution by yelling out her belief that President Barack Obama is not a natural born citizen of the United States.

When Frank Rep. Pallone (D-N.J.) read the part of Article II, Section 1 mandating that only a "natural-born citizen" may be president, the woman, seated in the front row of the public gallery, screamed "Except Obama, except Obama. Help us Jesus."

An officer removed her from the gallery as she yelled out "My name is Theresa."

"You're under arrest," the officer could be heard telling her as he led her through double doors at the back of the chamber.

Members are rotating by party as they read short passages from the amended version of the founding document. Speaker of the House John Boehner kicked off the reading, followed by Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

Other than high attendance on the House floor and participation by leaders and rank-and-file members of both parties, the early part of what was expected to be a roughly two-hour reading was unremarkable until the outburst.

Why would they let Pelosi and some of the others who intentionally did everything in their power to abrogate their oath and the Constitution be allowed to read any part of the document? They should have been told in no uncertain terms that their treasonous actions disqualified them.

Sometimes I think you shoot from the hip before checking to see if the gun is loaded. But the type of people you speak of might be the ones who need to read it the most.

Oh, they need to have it read to them every morning for the rest of their career and then be reminded they swore to follow it. Their need to read it and hear it repetitively doesn't mean they should be chosen to read it to others when they obviously have no knowledge or respect of it. You can also rest assured I know absolutely which guns are loaded and which are unloaded.

People should have more respect. Everyone, not only "birters" Many a liberal has shouted out things as conservative politicians over the years.

As to reminding politicians about living up to an oath they took, that would be a REAL change. We accept the lies, even excuse there transgressions if we agree with their politics. We excuse poor character both by saying that character does not matter and saying that personal bad acts have nothing to do with their job.

Example: Bill Clinton.

Keep in mind it was the Democrats and the mainstream media that gave Slick Willie a pass on his screwing around, and nothing the GOP said was reported or seemed to stick. He continues to be the most morally bankrupt sleazebag that ever held the office. If he had been a Republican, he would probably be in prison right now.
