Big Rig film

Has anyone seen it yet? I rented it tonight. I thought it was pretty good. A couple of the drivers acted like professionals the rest were the stereotypical truck drivers. Using foul langauge left and right. One looked like he hadn't bathed in a month and his clothes were extremely dirty. I'll cut him a little slack because he was a flatbedder. He could have just got done loading, but you would have thought he would have cleaned up before being taped. I would have. I'm not trying to discourage anyone from watching the film, but some of the drivers did portray a bad image on the industry. I was kinda afraid of that.

We bought the DVD. Ark is correct in his description, but, it was very true to life. I thought they did a good job.

Maybe they should have included the disclaimer that the filthy trucker was running in the northeast and couldn't find a truck stop with a decent shower.

To those of you who are renting or buying the DVD, where are you finding it?

Phil, the Red Box DVD rental kiosk has it.

I was going to rent it but had to go.

Does it really show the real life of trucking, p*ssing in bottles, Dumping garbage, some cheating on logs and riding on people's a** when they won't move out of the way and so on? ;)

I just bought the Big Rig movie at a TA and watched in the sleeper while Diane drove down the road. I had thoughts about giving it to another truck driver after I was done with it. That won't happen now. This movie is a keeper. I loved it!

The movie made me laugh, cry and feel inspired all at once. It is easy to forget that every trucker has a story and own reasons for being out here. This movie brings some of those stories home. The camera work brings back a thousand memories of places we have been and things we have seen. It's just fun to watch.

I rented it from Movie Gallery. It's a chain place like Blockbuster down here. I don't about everywhere else. I'm not saying I didn't like the movie. I did. I just wish some of the drivers would have portrayed a better image is all. I'm getting ready to watch it again I think.
