Beware of lots of Craigslist scammers!!!!!

I was recently trying to sell my laptop on Craigslist all i got is scammers. Beware of anyone wanting you to ship anything overseas. I got an e-mail from this person asking me to ship laptop to Nigera after they made payment. However, being the smart one I am I contacted FedEX and they said that they have no such division as a FedEX Express Money Gram. I am just posting this thread because I know how trying the times are and anyone using Craigslist or Ebay to sell anything should be aware of this. I am going to try and post a copy of an email that this person sent me. Everything looks legit as the person I talked to at FedEx explains and these scammers are going above and beyond to try and pull this off. Please be careful out there!!! Thankfully I contacted FedEX about this issue and I will not be sending my laptop without "real" cash.

Should've stuck to your fine friends on EO.. did you try their classifieds?

Guess that's why many sellers on eBay won't deal with anyone outside of the US. I have a problem buying stuff sometimes just being in Canada. I've bought quite a few things on eBay and only had a problem once (from a US person). At least with eBay there's a way to check people out, buyers and sellers (unlike Craigslist)

Goin to EO classifieds here in a sec but these scammers are even using the FedEX logo check this out they even spelled things wrong and there is not an official FedEx email address on the line....

And I tried to log on to the EO classifieds and it won't let me says my e-mail address already exists and or my username I know I'm entering my password correctly....hmmmm

I laughed too, but I stopped laughing when I got to the last part. Nobody heard from Jeff again. I hope that the scammers didn't get to him, since they are capable of anything.
