What do you do when your done with your expedite van. I'm not going to trade it in on another van I just want to sell it. Any pointers on the best way to do this?

Place a free ad here on the EO site. When you do that take a picture inside and out of the cargo van if you can. List year, make, model, any special features, like cargo straps included, etc etc. List your asking price of course and all your contact information as well. Best of luck to you.

Back in '03, I sold an E-350 Powerstroke, on E-bay! I was happy with
the price I got and was pleased with the process, as well.:) :)

Even the Thiefs in Cleveland don't want a van with a ton of miles on it...I've tried left it running on east 9th and they just walk by to get to the Lexus.

Shoot. I've been trying to get a runaway tractor trailer to demolish my old van and let that GAP policy kick in.

I have a proven way to get rid of worn out equipment!Keep it insured-
My tractor sat with a 4 sale sign and didn't sell-- uhmm?
Then I placed a "rebuilt rears and engine recently overhauled" sign and BINGO!! It disappeared one nite!!

Okay - I'm going to go out on a limb here....How about posting it at ExpeditersOnline.com Free Classifieds? LOL!

Several folks have suggested tounge-in-cheek ways to dispose of a van. We certainly trust that no forum member is serious about committing, suggesting or condoning insurance fraud as a means of disposing of a spent van.

I have sold two van via ExpeditersOnline.com Free Classifieds, I sold one van to a fellow expediter who continued on in the business, and I sold a van to a local person who recognized some value left in the very used cargo van.

I traded my van in on a car. My salesman called me a few days after the sale for some info on the roof fan, extra batteries, electrical switches, etc. I reminded him he had "stolen" my van. This was like someone stealing your purse and calling you on the phone to get your ATM pin number.
