Been out for a while

Hello all,

I've been out for a while. Broke my ankle in 2 places. Going back out on the road this week after 8 weeks out. Sitting at home in NC waiting for a load out with our team D unit.

I've been keeping up with all the posts and the great information everyone is sharing. This forum has really kept my mind off my problems. Thanks to all who contribute!!!

Just wondering, how are most people running. I've seen alot of posts saying that freight is really slow. Sometimes it is hard to know if it's the vans (single or team) or C and D units (with singles or teams).

Let me know how it's going for you guys and try to specify what kind of unit you drive and if your single or team.

I maybe getting a little nervous since I've been out so long. Just wanted to check to see "What's Up".

All posts appreciated!!!

Be safe,
Laura

OUCH!! I'm sorry to hear about your injury. In this case I won't suggest you jump back in feet first. Things aren't as busy as I'd like to see them but it seems pretty decent. Good luck to you when you get back out there.

Thanks Leo. Starting back driving last Tuesday. It's going great.
Been running pretty good...I love being back on the road.
Hopefully, things will pickup soon.

Yep, when I do something I really do it right. Never felt pain like that before and hope never do again.
I was just stepping over my dogs gate and oops down I went. Just call me Grace!

Laura,
From one "Grace" to another - welcome back, & I'm glad it wasn't any worse! (I once wiped out both my knees, falling down the steps, carrying a basket of laundry - you'd think, after 10 years, I'd remember to watch for the dog, who loved to lay in the middle of the steps, & never, ever got out of the way, lol)
For me, driving solo in a van, it's been ok - not crazy-busy, but not doing too much sitting, either. ;) Drive safe, Cheri
