Beck to Publisher: Call Off Palin 'Stalker' or I'll Boycott

What a Rodeo Clown. For a real good guffaw, listen to Beck talking to Palin on his radio show yesterday(google it). It has to be the most disgusting display of a** kissing ever caught on tape. He really must think that she will run in 2012 and he is hoping she will take him as her running mate. This man has got to be the biggest fake on t.v. and radio, he is milking the popularity of "reality t.v." dry. It is beyond me why she (Palin) associates with this moron if she hopes for any credibility whatsoever. Oh and another thing; Palin do yourself a favor and stay off of facebook and twitter you twit!! What are you 14?

Random House should get Joe McGinniss out of house next door.

Glenn Beck feels Sarah Palin's pain about new next-door neighbor/biographer Joe McGinniss, and he's making use of some of his not inconsiderable clout to make him go away. Beck thinks McGinniss' move is creepy, and tantamount to stalking—she calls it "a nightmare"—the better to work on his unauthorized book. Beck wants Random House to call McGinniss off, Mediaite reports. "If you don’t get control of your authors I will never mention a Random House book ever again," he said yesterday on his show.

"And I don’t know if you’ve noticed this," he added, to twist the knife a bit, "but I tend to sell books, not just my books, but books from other publishers."

Sounds to me like Beck understands capitolism, and freedom. I might also add that he is the only media personality out there that is speaking the truth, educating his listeners about our history, and not bowing to either one of the political parties. Sure, he is making a good living. But if he wasn't, I am sure he wouldn't be interested in walking around with a target on his back. I know I wouldn't.

I do wish he would reconsider his representation of the gold company. They are a rip off, but so are the finance companies and the federal government!

I do believe that the President is "addicted" to twitter. I guess that makes him 14 also!?!?!? Get a life and quit worrying about Beck and Palin! I'd be more concerned with the rising price of oil. Oil went up 3 dollars a barrel while Obama was speaking about no new drilling. We are in a heavily oil dependent industry. I would worry more about that than people you disagree with!

I spewed my Dew on that one. Glenn Beck telling the truth is about as solid as President Obama being transparent in his administration. Glenn Beck has been busted so many times in outright lies it's not funny. But the worst part is that he presents his opinions as factual, and bases them on a distorted, if not outright false, version of th truth, and then proceeds to draw conclusions based on erroneous factual opinion.

For example, he says that most of the people who believe in global warming are socialists. That's simply not true. He made it up. There's not even a lame illusory corollary that can be drawn from to make such a statement. He makes an absurd statement like that, and people hear it, and they think, "Hey, I'm not a socialist, so if I believe in global warming, then people will think I'm a socialist, therefore I should not believe in global warming." Glenn Beck understands that most people, liberals and conservatives alike, are basically stoopid, and will eat up anything and allow their minds to be manipulated so long as it fits with their beliefs. Facts don't matter. The reality is, you shouldn't believe in human-induced global warming, not because someone will think you are a socialist, but rather because it's a load of crap.

Another even more blatant example of an even more blatant lie is when he told viewers if they visited the government's Cash For Clunkers Web site that the TOS of the Web site indicated that all of the files on their computer, as well as their computer itself, would become property of the US Government and that the government. The fact is, there was a Web site for dealers, not consumers, that wasn't even a Web site, where when dealers logged on to the government computer system via a VPN (and not a Web site) that any computer directly connected to the network would be considered government property while they were connected. You go to the Web site to log onto the system, but when it comes time to login, you are redirected to the actual computer network, via the Internet, and not to another Web site. When you log in, you are directly connected to a closed network, and not the Web.

When this little brain-dead error was pointed out to him, he dismissed the truth in favor of the lie, because the lie was more sensational and got better ratings, and continued to perpetuate the lie for another 8 shows before moving on to something else.

Another one was then he said Dyess AFB in Abilene got $1.4 million in stimulus money and "used it to repair a door." That's a lie of omission and evasion. Yes, there was a door, two of them, at an airplane hangar that were repaired with the $1.4 million, but it didn't cost $1.4 million to repair those doors. Not even close. The $1.4 million was simply the total money given to Dyess for those and many other repairs. But he presented it as if $1.4 million was spent to repair a door, which is a lie.

And people believe the stuff that he's shoveling. Glenn Beck is in the ratings business, and he does it the same way The Weather Channel presents "severe" weather when it rains, regardless of how much it rains - it's doom and gloom and fear mongering for fun and profit. It's mind manipulation. How do you want your mind to be manipulated today?

What does capitolism and freedom have to do with the original post?

I might also add that he is the only media personality out there that is speaking the truth, educating his listeners about our history, and not bowing to either one of the political parties.

Wow!! Do yourself a favor and do your own educating on our American History instead of listening to someone who is in it for, as you would say, "Capitolism".

I do wish he would reconsider his representation of the gold company. They are a rip off, but so are the finance companies and the federal government!

Ya think!!
