So today was the pinewood derby race although I had to stay home and deal with frozen pipes and a repair they let my kid race my entry.Both placed third in a couple runs. Here are a few pics. It did scale preaty close untill I put the wheels on.
I also included the boys car as well.

I am suprised the longer body cleared the curve at the bottom of the slope!!! I used to be a cub master and our pack owned our own track we used to loan out to other packs when needed..

The kids really love the derby. My son had the honor of being the 50 million and 1 to sign up for the scouts. They made quite the big deal of it for him. News articles and tv. He thought he was somethng and I guess he was.
