Last night our driver's was parked at the Petro and there was drunk driver's in there parking lot setting off firework's under one of our truck's, they called security about this matter twice. They woke up to a Flat driver's side tire and alot of fire works set off under the truck the could have set the truck on fire and killed the driver's. Will keep you posted on what happens about this matter.

Glad no one was hurt.
Clearly sounds like a candidate for DA of the month.

I always avoid that Petro. I have seen open drug dealing going on in the front parking lot in the afternoon. They put spotter lookouts up the street to warn them of any poilce in the area.

The QT off of 20 near an Industrial area seemed to nice when I was there. No restaurant but nice accomidations and a Wendys. QT does not seem to put up with crap, clean, neat, professional well trained employees who get along with customers and each other.

My choice when in Atlanta.

Well, after talking to the driver's which had 3 tire's cut on the truck and a driver standing on the front bumper peeing all over the hood of the truck just because they called the Petro about some driver's letting off firework under the truck. These guy's had 12 case's of beer and a few bottle's of Jack. I ask the driver's why didn't they move the truck away from that spot and they said that it was late at night and there was no place to park. The cost to replace 3 tire's at the Petro was $1306.00.

I called Petro's home office and got a line of bull. I will keep you posted on this matter.

It's sad to say, but one of the things truck drivers must be careful about out there is other truck drivers.

I remember that Petro - they had a security guard posted inside, he stopped me as I headed for the rest room, saying "Only drivers are permitted in this area" I showed him my CDL, & never went there again. I figured it must be a bad news place - and QT is much nicer, anyway.

Isn’t this the same petro that has a secured area for the trucks to park in and you have to show a fuel ticket to get out or pay? I may be mistaken but I have been told that vans are not allow there at all.

I almost ran out of fuel going to the pilot on 20 because of the c**p floating in the parking lot. I mean the guards didn't look like they were much interested in stopping anyone from doing anything. I felt safer in downtown Atlanta parking near peachtree.

The last time I was there, it was with a group of FedEx CC van drivers but the last time I slept there I backed up to the bramble bushes for the night and was entertained with the pimp beating his ‘working girl’ on the street side of the bushes at 3 AM. Needless to say the cops finally showed up after an hour of yelling and screaming and they beat the pimp and arrested the 'working girl'.

Is this what is meant by a paid tourist?

Oh Cheri the guard pulled that on me, I told him look at the hat and tell me what it says. He had a dumb founded look on his face.

People working at the Petro told the driver's drinking that it was Okay. I think they should be accountable for telling them this.

things have change so much
should get everybody to call in and say if you don't clean up the place we won't use any petro's period any where
and you have to pay to park or buy fuel and it's suppose to be safe
i would say let's vote with not buying any fuel at any petro

I don't stop at Petro's. Usually it's either J or T/A with Pilot tossed in once in a great while. I also won't go to ones where they charge you to park so the Detroiter and Laredo Pilot don't see me. Although it will draw fire, I'd rather drive to Jackson or Cartersville and be safe than stop nearby in a danger zone like the Petro mentioned or the Pilot on 285.

Last year a tanker rolled over just down the street from that Petro when the driver lost control due to being hit in the face with bottle rockets . When the police arrived there was a crowd climbing all over the tanker and the driver had been dragged out and beaten .
