Battery Box

I need to purchase a battery box for two deep cycle batteries. Large enough to hold three would be acceptable. Is there anything less than about $300? TSI can get them for that, and it may be a bargain. Anyone know of any cheaper options? Shipping is not cheap either...

Got mine from a junk yard for $80.

Or you can check out BENTZ for new. Have no idea how much they charge.

Salvage yard would be my pick as well. Even if it is out of state a FL battery box is plastic so shipping should be reasonable.

I found some Fl70 fuel tanks at this wrecking yard on the loop around Cincinnati. May want to give them a call. They are right off the Interstate.

Easy to find at truck junkyards are FL Century or Columbia aluminum battery boxes, they will hold up to 4 batteries and fit snugly to the frame, this box does not stick out like FL70 battery boxes, it goes the other way. Denny

Thanks for the info- I bid on a Century batt. box on E-bay, but gave it up after the price hit $150 + $75 for shipping. I can buy a new tool box and convert it for that! see Northern Tools if interested, or Weatherguard for steel or alum.
