USA Today reports an unmarked Ford Cargo Van hit a Honda stopped at a stop sign Sunday am.
They pulled two deceased from the wrecked Honda. They could see two more. Once they got the van off the Honda they found three more deceased.

Prayers to the families involved.

The van driver was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Sorry to hear this, condolences to the families.

This shows that safety should be the top priority with all drivers.

I have a bad feeling the van driver was asleep and never even attempted to stop. It's not that easy driving a van over a car like that, it takes speed and not paying attention until you hear expensive-sounding noises.

and your point was?

cars/vans/pickup trucks 100's lose their lives every day out there....heck before expediting my van was unmarked....doesn't mean a thing....

My point was a moments inattention can cause havoc.

Just a reminder to pay attention.
And be careful.

Being an unmarked van means it didn't have decals tying it to a commercial enterprise.

example: IF the headline was.....Unmarked straight truck crashes......now lets connect it with expedite industry somehow.....instead of Pedro's crappy farm truck.

I made no mention of expedite or freight.
Just a reminder of the potential for mayhem we all hold in our hands.
