bad owners

I have to have the worst luck in the world with owners of sprinters I have been ripped off more times then anyone I know and they just keep doing it I have a owner that you can't talk to. only text and takes the 40% out of the net so you think your getting one amount and you get pennies. Then he don't know why he can't keep drivers. I mean owners that rip off there driver will never make it they will soon have a van and no driver.

What does your contract say that he gets for revenue? He isn't likely giving you the van for free.

I have to wonder about driving a van for somebody else anyway. The margins are tissue-thin to begin with, there's not a whole lot to split between an owner and a driver.

Maybe [just maybe], if you stop thinking of it as 'luck', and do some research on the potential owner, [esp talking to other drivers who are/were driving for him/her] and verify that what is promised verbally is stated in writing as well [aka a contract], you might find your luck improves.

I've been there, done that and will never go that route again.
