Backhaul

I am looking for a contact in the Long Island area. I go there quite often, and would like something to haul back to the OH area. I would even consider going to CT for a pickup. Anyone know of a person I could contact? I have a "D" unit. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

i'm not sure how much help this will be, but i sometimes sit in the truckstops, watching the TV with all the brokered loads lists, and have thought about perhaps contacting some of those folks about back-haul. If you could find a broker in your area, you might be able to start a relationship with him/her, and find something suitable. Just an idea...
