Background checks and TSA

Hey did you you all know that the TSA does not recognize the D.O.D. and FBI backgrounds we have had to get to haul Govt loads. Seems to me that it is more through than the 2 page general info background check than the TSA background check.
I recently had to renew my license, and part of that, yeo you guessed it a HAZ-Mat check. it was 135.00 for a check that took 4-6 weeks. HMMMMM something smells pretty fishy here, Oh i know, another way to be extorted out of our hard earned money.
Well i hope that my contacting my congressional reps might help.
Senator Claire Mckaskell is very pro to what we do to support our Govt, and troops. She is looking into it. Now we may be able to change this little Money grabbing thing if everyone sends a letter, or a phone call to there Reps in Congress.

I mean dont get me wrong, a 25.00 fee for the process of getting info from the FBI would be in order, but 135.00 is a little too much for info that is already gathered on us and shared with TSA

Also did anyone else hear of the TSA employee who was taking our info and passing it on to her family members, and then opening charge accounts in our names. well im going to search it out and get back to yall

At one point after 9/11, they were supposed to share information between agencies but again they can't do the simplest things.

Yeah, they have to tax us any way they can. You can call it a "fee" for a government service, I just call it another tax. We already pay enough for government. I like that "homecoming tax" you have to pay to get back into the country.
