I took couple days off at home,on monday, dispatch called, load picked up less than 3 blocks from my house and went to McCook Ne.So yes, pay seemed right, loaded my trailer,16000 lbs and off to Nebraska we went.!st stop was service area on Ohio turnpike, wow $3.959,fuel price, did someone say average price for fuel was $3.81/gal.bought enough to get to Gary In,flying j $3.789.but we all know there is an extra tax thats not on the pump.iowa fuel was 3.91,nebraska fuel was 3.95,and best yet, rochelle il,petro, fuel is 4.249.bio-diesel just 4.04,but you get to change your fuel filters alot. Now here's my question, how do they figure the average fuel prices?seems to me its like the milage guide,10% off.Oh by the way,1100 mile run paid almost 2200 bucks and went thru $900 FOR EXPNSES,thankyou mother nature for the high winds,i didnt need the money anyway.
