what a great place. three stories in the former main blgg of the e.l. cord facilities. original floor, fresco plaster work and 20 of the 22 art deco ceiling lights. the cars are of course beautiful. the first floor are a,c,d cars, the second is artwork of the cars and the third is cars of indiana. there is a large parking lot you could get a strt into across the street from the bldg.
i am still editing the photos before adding them to this posting.
hours ar 9-5 eastern anytime.
the large event is labor day when they draw 150,000 folks to the acd festival. little too crowded for me. today was fine. i could shoot unhindered and kick my camera bag around the shiny floor.
10 bucks gets you in. next door is the auto and truck museum if you can still stroll and look. we didn't.
