Looks like there may be another small area of rain headed that way. Expecting record low temps, here in Iowa, tonight.

Good morning everyone. I have to say it feels like I'm living on the final frontier here this morning. April is almost over and the wind is whipping up the snow and beating it against my front door. And from the way my big cat was beating at the door to get in after 30 seconds out I'm thinking there must have been a grizzly bear after him!
I'd like to say something to all of you. I know when we have too much time on our hands we tend to get grumpy and snipe at each other, but to what end? You are all friends and have been for such a long time.. please.. just think before you speak. An ill mannered word can ruin my day.
And I'm betting it doesn't really make you feel any better either. Get a hobby..one that doesn't include target practice on your best buds! It's a lonely profession and you need each other!
Now I'm going to get off of Dale's pulpit while leaving him some advil and go get that second cup of coffee. Have a good day!

Honey, I don't know where you got that last batch of bird seed but they all love it.. especially the finches. Had my shorts on and didn't want to trudge through the snow to fill the feeders so I tossed some on the ground just off the deck and they're acting like it's a picnic!
Better bring me a couple bags home next time!
