I did get a call last night for an 0330 pickup this morning (74 DH for 60 loaded, two stops). It was t-shirts going to a couple of sporting goods stores that were silkscreened to celebrate Michigan's NCAA victory over Louisville. Michigan couldn't hold a commanding 12-point lead, so, uhm, that load cancelled.
They keep telling me that SE Michigan is a great area for freight. I'm not sure what they mean by that, though. Friday morning I was 7 of 10, Friday afternoon I was 1 of 8. Over the weekend I was 1 of a wide variety of numbers. At noon today I was 1 of 6. Currently I am 1 of 7, and sitting on 111 hours an counting. Must be that whole "two pallet" thing. Yeah, that's prolly it.
