The person who does our customs stuff between 10am and 6pm is phenomenal... rarely an issue and if there is...you get updates. Outside of those hours if there is even the slightest hiccup the wheels fall off and all goes dark.....it's soul crushing.
I thought the crossing form you filled out had to list the broker?...or was the broker mis stated?...

OVM and I are lucky, even after hours our dispatch is always "hanging" around to answer our questions!

Nope...you fill in your crossing eta...the port you are going to use, apply a paps sticker to the invoice and send it all into the mothership experts.

You still use stickers? :D

That stuff isn't necessary anymore, somebody's being cheap

I rarely even submit paperwork anymore, usually the customer does...i do get asked where I'm crossing when accepting a load...the aci/ace comes as a PDF I print it out and all done

I rarely even submit paperwork anymore, usually the customer does...i do get asked where I'm crossing when accepting a load...the aci/ace comes as a PDF I print it out and all done
I ask for crossing manifest with stamps at the shipper. Won't leave without all papers anymore.
