You probably already know this, but google maps says it takes 1 day, 3 hours!! You should ask them how much they will pay if you can get in there in 16 hours, just for a laugh!

Message back to them. Introduce them to the aero-plane.

That is the only way that's going to happen..

Unless of course, you have 2000 HP engine and a heavy foot....

Don't ask em anything..Just get the freight on the truck..
They got pd the big money to put this load together. Run with it for 11 hours and let them worry about Xdocking it or not.

As far as the time machine,,Maybe leg 2 is just going to the airport and you just dont know it yet..:D

Just wondering.. How did this run get past your company and out for dispatch?

They called me about it, submitted a revised bid with decent transit time. So we didn't get it. Last I heard, the Co. was still looking for someone with a time machine.

Depending on size/weight airnet out of columbus can probably handle it. They will van it to the nearest airport, air freight it down there and van it out.

It's one of our largest customers in Minneapolis but they are nation wide.

The price however will reflect their ability to get it there in time.

I've had occasion to want one. Back when I was doing route work locally, my dispatch had it in their heads that you could do forty stops in an area covering parts of three or four counties. Now, anybody with experience and an idea of how Chicago Greater Metropolitan Area is built would laugh himself silly at the notion, but dispatch really thought it could be done. A time machine just might have helped.

Recently, not so much. The companies I'm signed on with seem to be reasonably sane about the delivery times, so I haven't had any worries about that.
