Any Disney Lubbers?

All these years coming to CA we have never made it to Disneyland, (tho we go to Disneyworld most every year with the grands). We went yesterday and had a blast and I am happy to say you can park your straight right on the property.
Parking Information | Guest Services | Disneyland Resort
If you have one of those super sleepers and want to RV it there is a real nice park across the street>Home
While I realize it's not everyone's cup of tea, it is a once in a lifetime for big kids like me.

My favorite place to go! I have now been to Disney World and Disneyland and while Disney World has it plusses Disneyland holds my heart! I will be going again for a few days after the first of the year. Glad to know about the truck parking and the RV area that might be something in our future.

The pictures are awesome as always!

Great point! I think you have hit on why I enjoy Disneyland so much! When I walk through those gates and under the railroad I am off into another world and I forget all about trucking which is not something I can easily do.

I love the quality of those pictures, but as our kids are now older I can't think of a place I'd least rather be! :p

That's not totally accurate.

Walt himself was the driving force to the creation of DisneyWORLD.

I have never been to Disneyland, but love Disneyworld. We went two years ago sans kids and still had a blast! We plan on taking our grand daughter in a few years, she's only 15 months old now. Until that time, we will do some reconnoitering this winter, just to make sure everything is cool.

Mike, love the picture of you holding that little mouse's hand. What Photo Shop program did you use to get that statue effect?

I'm a huge fan of amusement parks, and Disney World is a favorite [though Cedar Point is right up there, lol]. Now I want to go to Disneyland and see the difference for myself. ;)
Thanks, Tude - great stuff!

Disneyland seen with adult children or just adults is a blast... It has something for everyone and when I see parents pushing strollers or young children who are exhausted screaming I wonder how much fun is anyone having?

I must admit I enjoy going to Disneyland as an adult with others over the age of 12 who enjoy the place as much as I do.

Mr. Goodtude where you so busy taking pictures you did not ride anything?

Yes and no, Walt was excited about the prospect of so much area in Florida with the mindset now, "if we dream it we can build it". Both places are magical:)

Thanks, after doing Disney with and without I think we enjoy it more with the grands.
However we did do a solo trip at Magic Mountain that was far better by ourselves
Love the roller coasters!

Thanks Cheri, Cyn has been to Cedar Point and I look forward to it one day. I won't be toting camera gear tho...

I don't know Linder, I mean I understand what your saying, but for our pilgrimage this year the youngest grand's (4 and 5) are going for the 1st time so there is 12 total meaning...
I don't have to do anything but kickback and watch the little's be prince's and princess's while mommy and daddy attend to the annoying, exhaustive stuff. They are younger and more fit than I anyway:)
We did ride some rides the other day, except for this **** thing that I really wanted to ride! We waited over an hour in line (with only six people in front of us left to board mind you) to have the ride malfunction and close.....
Such is the life.=(
