That was McCain's stack of stuff on Romney right?

I wonder where McCain's stack of stuff on Obama is...........

Romney is already unelectiable. That is why Obama and the press want him so bad.

I would be willing to bet that you could "dig up" bad things on anyone that you wanted too, even Ron Paul. NO one is perfect.

Having said that, I truly wish that Romney would just fade away, along with the rest of them.

Layout - I don't doubt that at all .... (in fact, I might even be aware of a few of them so-called "bad things" that haven't been addressed in the MSM as yet ...)

However, there is a huge difference between something (political misstep, political incorrectness, whatever) that can be used as a political weapon vs. actual corruption, malfeasance, immoral and unethical conduct, etc.

Having said that, I truly wish that Romney would just fade away, along with the rest of them.
Ultimately, he may ..... the more scrutiny Mittens comes under, the worse it will get for him. Guaranteed.

Loved his comment that he didn't "make that much" from speaking engagements. That nervous laugh afterwards really set it off. Wasn't it something like $350,000?

I was not saying that Mr. Paul was comparable in the bad things. I was just saying the they WILL try to dig up as much as they can assuming he pulls off the nomination. They will "fire up" the 'ole "spin machine" to be sure. Right, wrong or indifferent the mains stream press is out to insure, if not an Obama victory, at least one for the status quo.

Got it - yup :)

Agreed.

"Mittens" sounds more like a cute name a kid would name their kitten. "Baseball" would be a better name for him. As in "baseball mitt" a nice oily piece of leather.

Yup .... they want it so bad they can almost taste it ....

..... but that doesn't mean that they would be unwilling to dine off of something in Column B or Column C as well .... :D

Yup - completely tone-deaf .... total disconnect from the vast majority of the population .....

What was the guy thinking - that it would never come out ?

I'd venture to say that I, or most anyone else in this country, could live quite well off half of what he made, even taxed at 35% ... particularly if it didn't require much of my time to produce it.

That nervous laugh afterwards really set it off.
He knows what's coming .....

A little more I think - like $374,000 or something ?

Are you saying "Mittens" has done something bad?
No ..... in terms of outright corruption or illegality, I don't know whether he really has or not .... (I didn't read The Book)

However this I do know: under our present (corrupt) system of governance, the higher one goes on the income ladder, the greater the likelihood there is that one has been involved in things that would be viewed as immoral or unethical by much of the population .....

And those so situated are quite well aware of it ....

The rules of the game are what they are .... and they are what they are, largely as a consequence of big money in politics .... and not as a consequence of what is good for the nation as a whole ...

This highlights the fundamental problem - and makes the case for what is the real solution: remove the power of government to make perverted economic rules ..... chain down Leviathan to it's proper role: the defense and protection of state and individual rights and liberty ... and not allow it to pick economic winners and losers ....

Heard on the radio yesterday that this $350K was the sum total of eight speeches - that's $43,750 per speech, which isn't all that much on the big-shot speech circuit. Someone like Bill Clinton gets well into six figure$ per speech. Wonder how much Barack Hussein Obama will get paid for a speech once he's an ex-president?

Well I'm sure that fact will help Mittens keep his support ..... in the sliver spoon crowd ....

Don't see it doing much for him with the remainder of the electorate tho' ....

I wonder how soon it will be before Obamney is actually in a position to start giving them and charging ...

What do you figure a dollar will be worth in 2016 ? (.... assuming he doesn't decide at that point to become "Dear Leader For Life" ...)
