SC legislation says they are going to shut it down. Supposedly there is a manned van that monitors the camera, that was the justification being used by the town in regards to the constitutionality of it, but he/she would sit there and match the pics to drivers license data base for the registered owner. If the owner wasn't driving, no ticket was mailed.So the state is gonna pass a law that says a police officer has to physically hand the ticket to the offender.

There is at least one class action law suit against them that will probably cost them more in legal fees than they will collect in fines. Jerry Lee
