Air Tabs

We have been running with the other truck in the picture. Both of us had been across Donner Pass on wet nasty roads. We had not run in any snow this is just road dirt and I thought it was interesting. We have Air Tabs the other truck does not:

Linda, I don't see a hot pink wheel chock in the photo. That's a good thing! Or are you still procrastinating?

Do you have tabs on the roof also. I have them on my truck and love them. They take the wind and calm it down. Big rigs would knock me around before installing them. Nice pics

Yes we have them across the roof. We even put the extras on the bottom of the lift gate. They are a really good inexpensive product.

If you want to see some wild AirTabs Gotta Go needs to post a picture of her truck.

Pictures? I have pictures. Of course, I don' t do a great job of labeling them.
The first shows where I put Airtabs on the roof of my sleeper (3/10 mpg savings). The second pic shows the Airtabs on the fenders and the back of the West Coast mirrors. The third and fourth pics show a fender in snow and ice.
The picture I didn't get ('cause I wasn't up for climbing up on a slippery truck) was of the ice buildup on the sleeper Airtabs and no snow or ice until right at the top of the chrome curve on the box.

I'm not sure who the truck on the left is, but the second is Susie, then Jeanie, then me. :)
This photo is of Jeanie removing airtabs that someone (who shall remain nameless, but it was not me, nor was it a woman,:D ahem) put on backwards. With a heat gun and plastic spatula, they come off easily. Jeanie says MEK will remove the adhesive residue, but I have no experience on that one.

I thought it was fun that there were 3 named trucks socializing. Ghost, Glory, and Amelia with our two headed cat. :D Hope the Panther driver identifies them self. ;)

Do AirTabs really work? I mean they look like little small dust pans... I gonna get some big dust pans and glue the on my Sprinter, maybe that will work...bigger is better right?

Do you know my mechanics? That's exactly what they said when they first saw them. :p You should have heard them when I brought in the Eco-flap mudflaps. The words fly swatter were mentioned.
