Air bags on front axle

Owners just hooked us up with a AWESOME Volvo 780 it was the owners truck and spec'd to the max even has remote keyless entry! Question is my expectations may have been too high for the ride in that it has front axle airbags and to be honest I have driven fleet volvos, century and columbia models through the years that were as comfortable. Is there an air adjust switch or someway to adjust the ride comfort or am I becoming a spoiled ....On smooth pavement she sails so sweet but hit a Kentucky road and she rattles the dash like the space shuttle on re-entry.
