The one I like was submitted by Senator Judd Gregg (R-NH), SA 2361, that states:
On page 194, after line 23, add the following:
Sec. 1__X. (a) This section may be cited as the ``Axe the Stimulus Plaques Act''.
(b) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, none of the funds made available under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Public Law 111-5) may be used for physical signage to indicate that a project is being funded by that Act.
We need to go after Obama too. He is most likely up to his skinny little neck in this mess. He is just SOOOO slimey!!
Is that what they cost? I know all those signs cost way more than they should, but Holy Crap! I figured (quite ignorant of how much they really cost) they cost something like $200 a pop, and that's way more than should be spent on silly signage when you consider how many of them there are. Very first one of those signs I saw, first thing that popped into my mind was, "Why did they waste money on a sign? Just do it. Git r dun."At $2000 a clip......

there is a connection between Acorns and oak trees as well...but every fall they have a falling out.....
All of ACORN apparently operates under the umbrella of Citizens Consulting Inc., whose Web site is completely empty aside from its address: 1024 Elysian Fields Ave., New Orleans.
According to corporate filings, about 270 related organizations — which are a mix of corporations and non-profits from states from California to Louisiana — have filed from that location. Does that look like a building that holds 270 organizations?
The $630,000 building that was once a funeral home is owned by Elysian Fieldscorp.
