We need to find out just how bad the election fraud was during the last election. ACORN was really at it during the registration drives. We also need to investigate the entire mess, including Obama, to find out just how much he was involved. He can't be trusted as far as you could throw Orsen Wells.

To cover all the bases, Senator Johanns also added SA 2356 on the heels of 2355, which states:

After section 414, insert the following: Sec. 4__. None of the funds made available under this Act shall be distributed to--
(1) an organization which has a pending indictment for or has been convicted of a violation under Federal or State law relating to fraudulent voting in any Federal or State election; or

(2) an organization which employs an individual who has a pending indictment for or has been convicted of a violation under Federal or State law relating to fraudulent voting in any Federal or State election.

====

The one I like was submitted by Senator Judd Gregg (R-NH), SA 2361, that states:

On page 194, after line 23, add the following:
Sec. 1__X. (a) This section may be cited as the ``Axe the Stimulus Plaques Act''.

(b) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, none of the funds made available under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Public Law 111-5) may be used for physical signage to indicate that a project is being funded by that Act.

Is that what they cost? I know all those signs cost way more than they should, but Holy Crap! I figured (quite ignorant of how much they really cost) they cost something like $200 a pop, and that's way more than should be spent on silly signage when you consider how many of them there are. Very first one of those signs I saw, first thing that popped into my mind was, "Why did they waste money on a sign? Just do it. Git r dun."

Read that somewhere, may have even linked to it here somewhere but it was probably many a long post ago.

The company that makes the signs for the state charged the feds $2700 for the sign, $560 to put most of them up and if they are on a freeway, an additional $500 for hazard pay - this does not include the removal of the signs.

Thanks for the link. I knew that some of those road signs (not just the stimulus ones, but regular ones, like an Exit sign) cost anywhere up to $1200 or $1500. But some cost less than $500. I guess I never figured in the cost of a wooden pole on which to mount them.

There was a big deal about the cost of the signs when Kentucky raised the speed limit. They raised it, but said they wouldn't put up the signs until they'd written enough speeding tickets to pay for it all. (Actually, what they said was they wouldn't put the new signs up until they had the revenue to pay for them, but we all knew what that meant.)

there is a connection between Acorns and oak trees as well...but every fall they have a falling out.....

yea it would be silly to think that just because the same person was a "co-founder" of BOTH organization that they would be working in conjunction and share simuilar interest... try googling the name Wade Rathke...you might also take a look at the "groups" he has been apart of and helped and who his friends and connections are......i mean i am sure it is all "tin foil" stuff and besides most of the information is being put out by "bloggers".... so we know it couldn't be worth anything......

It's way bigger than that.....270......

All of ACORN apparently operates under the umbrella of Citizens Consulting Inc., whose Web site is completely empty aside from its address: 1024 Elysian Fields Ave., New Orleans.
According to corporate filings, about 270 related organizations — which are a mix of corporations and non-profits from states from California to Louisiana — have filed from that location. Does that look like a building that holds 270 organizations?
The $630,000 building that was once a funeral home is owned by Elysian Fieldscorp.
