You, the professional truck driver, are cited for a lane change violation. Damage to your vehicle is limited to both outside tires of your tandems.


The tires were sliced to the point of requiring replacement.


Your neck has been bothering you from the quick turn of the head when the accident occurred. The doctor explains to expect stiffness for a week or so.


The black SUV sustained damage to the left front fender, tire and bumper. The driver’s door is damaged but could have been pre-existing damage.


The two occupants of the SUV sought medical treatment the day after the accident, and are claiming soft muscle tissue damage. Neither has been to work since the accident 10 days ago. Their attorney has made initial contact with your carrier’s insurance company.

take pictures of everything that happen, write down everything were people in car walking around
did they have fire crew check them out or not
get names of all people, if they won't give you there name take pictures of lic plate
get good legal advisor

Happens all the time, it's nothing unusual for the soreness to show up the next day. But ten days off work for a side swipe accident is not usual.

This is very good advice. The pictures and lists however should be stored in a safe place and only give them to your lawyer. You may have recorded something that hurts your situation more than it helps. Give it to your legal team and let them handle it.
