AA sleepers moved to a new facility in Ft. worth .
I-35W , just to the north of I-20.
I had the Pleasure of visiting them on the new location for some warranty work , (great service : out of pocket = 0$ !)
AA are specialize in a medium size sleepers , 92" to 120"
with a shower option ,
on the new place they are now manufacturing the sleepers from scratches , a large paint /oven is available for both cabinetry and metal paint jobs alike.
they are making the aluminum frame on the spot ,wrap it with the aluminum cast ,electric wiring , side walls ,AC tunneling EXT... all on the spot.
jobs that used to be outsources ( like Hvac) , are soon to be done in house and the saving are being pass on to the buyer.
on the day of my visit ,they had some new models on the production line , and where working on installing a 120" sleeper on a Columbia St. truck. with a shore power.
they say they can now design sleepers to the costumer needs, no middle man/dealers on the way.
With the Price of new trucks going up every year ,with the new emissions in mined , custom sleepers are now affordable the ever , and will probably continue to be for the next few years.
the roof mounted Hvac with the stand alone Diesel Generator gives a knock out for any over priced APU.
