ARE THERE AN COMPANYS ACCEPTING A-UNITS OR ARE THEY BECOMING OBSOLETE.

i believe they are obsolete,havn't seen one in quite a while.

The last I saw from a national carrier was with CTX. They has quite a few pickups with tall boxes in the bed. Just enough roo for one skid. Have'nt seen any lately.

I don't remember the locations but I saw a CTX pickup unit somewhere many months ago and 2 days later that same pickup was at the same shipper I pulled up at to pick up the same load I was there to pick up. I also saw a pickup unit with Express-1 over a year ago. Those are the only two I've ever seen, well, not counting the Toyota Corolla with nuclear hazmat placards I saw a couple of days ago but it wasn't with an expedite carrier.
