This happen to me today, and its just too crazy to make up, or not share. So let me start like all good trucking stories begin.

"You ain't going to believe this", but... its 2 am and I'm at the TA off I80 in Morris IL waiting on a load and sleeping. Dispatch calls to verify my location, and to tell me that another of our trucks has broke down and he needs me to get the load and finish the run. I tell him will do, and asks where is the broke down truck is at, now here is the crazy part. I'm told the truck has stoped with a smoking engine and is at the repair shop of the TA off I80 in Morris IL! Yes the very same one that I'm at, too crazy to make up. So I meet up with the other driver and swap the load over to my truck, just 3 very light pallets and finish the run. Its just 4 hours away, and I still get there 2 hours ahead of the delivery time. Now I ask what are the odds of me being at the same truck stop that another truck from my small carrier brakes down at. I'm sure as long as I drive something like this will never happen again.

Pretty neat stuff

As a side note: "small world" (although I would refrain from attempting to paint it) ;)
