A time to be thankful

Be thankful that you have a load today.
Be thankful that as you wait for the next dispatch to come, you know in time it will.
Be thankful that your carrier has not closed their doors or cut trucks from their fleets even though it may seem slow right now.
Think of those we hear of each day who's companies have failed and their doors have closed.
Think of those who worked for those companies that have no job now just before the holiday season. What do they have to be thankful for?

No matter whether you got one or five loads last week, or maybe none, be thankful that the possibility of work coming your way from your carrier still exist at all. Unfortunately for more and more each day, they no longer have a future with their companies as they close one by one. Fortunately, those of us on this forum have something to be thankful for in these unstable economic times.

good point ,
And this is the time to be prepared just in case your carrier do close their doors.

get your own truck insurance.
get your own base plate.
get your own EZpass plus account.
have a plan B for a carrier of your second choice ,and talk to them.
have enough cash money on the truck to get home.
talk to your carrier and find out how they doing.
