This is my first post but I have been a lurker for several years. May I ask why does this site tolerate members who do nothing but antagonize others,then refuse to answer topics that they boast in. One member boasted how he could hold up FEDXCC for more money when he was the only truck in n area. Subsequently FDX then adopted a policy of no more renegoation. I have met several FDX drivers who are carrying the post in question with them and plan on giving the famouus A Team ( Thats right) a good verbal cussing out if they ever meet up with him.
Sorry just needed to vent as I was told on a particular offer today that they could not adjust my pay due to that post..

Here is the perfect post of a bored driver. Joined the forum as Rusty Jones and now is going to rat and bash ATeam for a thread that is almost a year old. The best part is he is telling us the company he drivers for leading us all to believe it is FDX, is telling him he can't get a better rate because of what a member posted in this forum.

Hey Rusty, our heads screw off and we are going to feed right into your BS.

I hope all the newer members that don't know what this post means, see what not having a good old fashion hobby will cause some drivers to do when they get bored. Don't be like this guy! Find yourself a nice wholesome hobby for those days you have to lay over and wait on freight.

I agree with the others that this is a old topic that was addressed awhile back.
The only issue I see is that they are stating this is a current policy based on past statements by one of their drivers. If they are being effected today as the post states, I would think that is a current issue.
If Fedex drivers can neqotiate their loads then it is a dead issue. If not, then those described actions are effecting drivers today.
I don't run for Fedex so I personally can't say what effect it has.

Bored driver? or a policy that limits drivers income? Hard to tell.

Just my penny in the pond.

i can't see where the no negotiating has affected us.we still play it the same way, if you don't like what they are offering then turn it down.if they need the freight moved bad enough, they will get back to you on what it will take for you to accept the load.DD.

oh and i forgot about the comment about them not being able to adjust the pay because of that post.that is the biggest bunch of BS that i've ever heard.there is no way that they said that to you,i ain't beleiving it for a second. DD.

All companies from time to time try to cut costs to raise profits. FDXCC is no exception. When I switched to another carrier in Sept. offers seemed to be as upgradable as always, as long as you were in the right place at the right time and were talking to the right dispatcher.

The Xteam has been trying to cause hate and discontent over on the Expediter's voice, masquerading as the ATeam. Looks like he's gotten bored over there and has moved here.

It's possible this is a 14 year old kid, I don't think a mature adult would conduct himself in this fashion...

When a Company sees profits going down they try to cut costs. One of the ways FXCC cuts costs is to tell the dispatchers they no longer have the athority to add $$$ to the run offers. After a few months things return to normal and you can get them to bump up the offer. Things were back to normal when I was with FXCC in Sept.
If you're setting in Detroit with dozens of trucks they are going to go through the whole list trying to get someone to take a cheap load. If you're in Saginaw where I live and they want you to go up north for a PU, they're going to be more willing to bump up the offer.

yes, everyone did a good job slapping him down. davekc stated if it is affecting drivers still, then it is a current topic. the opinion is that nobody believes what he is saying and yes we all know his past record. lie, probably but to threaten to delete is not fair even to him. i do not drive for fdcc but dont buy it either, but we were not present when the alledged incident occured so we dont know for sure if it did or not. i am not defending xteam just the rite to post. yes i know there are rules but nothing there that bad we cant deal with. you all have been criticized before for deleting posts. as for xteam, ateam or whoever elses identity you choose to assume or make a spinoff of, i will ask here as on the other site you are masqerading on to come forward and identify yourself.
